Welcome to the Cedar Hills Pony Club.
Cedar Hills Pony Club was charted in 1964 and serves Maury, Giles and Lawrence Counties of Middle Tennessee. We are an active member in the Mid-South Region of the United States Pony Club (USPC). Through regular meetings, both mounted and unmounted, members are taught vital skills of safe horse management and English riding. Cedar Hills Pony Club is open to anyone age 4 - 25 who is interested in learning more about their pony/horse, increasing their riding skills, and meeting others with similar interests. Ownership of a pony/horse is not required but access to one is necessary. Programs are offered in dressage, eventing, show jumping, tetrathlon, quiz & foxhunting.
All Pony Club members are encouraged to work their way through the nine stages of the progressive Standards of Proficiency, which test knowledge and riding ability. Pony Clubbers who attain, the B, H-A, and A rating levels meet standards of competence that are recognized throughout the horse world.
The mission of the United States Pony Club is to provide a program for youth that teaches riding, mounted sports, and the care of horses and ponies, thereby developing responsibility, moral judgment, leadership and self-confidence. We at Cedar Hills are committed to this mission, and the youth that come our way. We hope you will decide to become a part of our group.
